Santana Row, in partnership with the Iranian Federated Women’s Club (IFWC)/Payvand, will proudly celebrate the arrival of fall (Fall Equinox) and the 2018 Persian Fall (Mehregan) on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Park Valencia, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the evening. There will be nationally-acclaimed Persian musicians and artistic performers free to the public. This event, commonly referred to as “MEHREGAN ,” is a fall festival of Persian origin, which has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years. It marks the first day of Fall. The festival of Mehregan is celebrated by many groups of people in the Middle East, and Central and South Asia, but particularly by Persians or various Iranian peoples.
